A walk in the park can help change lives
PUPS for Parkinson's Disease, Inc. is located at 998C Old Country Rd., #239, in Plainview, NY 11803. Our mission is to raise money to fund the research that is needed to find a cure for Parkinson's disease.
Perhaps nowhere is the human/companion animal bond stronger than in our relationship with dogs. And at PUPS for Parkinson's Disease, Inc. we offer you and your canine best friend the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the 1 1/2 million Americans who suffer from Parkinson's disease.
Because of the generous support of our sponsors, every dollar you donate goes directly to research.
PUPS for Parkinson's Disease, Inc. , a Long Island-based, all-volunteer, grassroots organization, was founded in 2009 with a clear mission to raise much-needed funds to help find a cure for Parkinson's disease. We are proud of the fact that all proceeds from fundraising efforts have been donated to major national scientific institutions leading the Parkinson's research efforts.
Regrettably, a clerical oversight by an outside firm resulted in a temporary revocation in our status as a federally recognized not-for-profit. Upon learning of this, we immediately filed an application for reinstatement, which we expect to be approved in the very near future. Currently, donations are not tax deductible.
